Yoga with Julie is Hatha / Vinyasa based style Yoga. Hatha Yoga the postures can be held longer so you have time to work into them and feel the effects they have on the body, Vinyasa Yoga is more flowing where you move from posture to posture not staying in the pose as long so better for people who have some Yoga experience.
Julie aims for people to leave her class feeling calmer in the mind, aware of their breath, tensions to melt away and body to feel strong and flexible and ready to embrace the weekend.
What to expect from my classes
6.15pm – 7.15pm
This class is suitable for beginners or those returning to Yoga after a break so will be more Hatha based style, so the poses can be explored and practiced slower so the benefits can be felt on the body and correct alignment can be worked on. Class will start with a warm up, followed by posture work and finishing with relaxation
7.30pm – 8.45pm
This will be more Vinyasa based and is suitable for people with Yoga experience, the class will flow more working with the breath to move from pose to pose, creating energy and space within the body. Starting with warm up, moving into postures and flowing through the class finishing with Yoga Nidra guided relaxation.
