Integrative Counselling

Counselling is a therapy freely entered into by a person seeking help. It offers an opportunity in a safe environment to explore, discover and clarify ways of living more resourcefully and towards greater well-being.
Integrative counselling brings together different elements of specific therapies and considers the clients personality and needs, to promote healing and facilitate wholeness. Integrative therapy helps create a healthy alliance between mind and body – empowering clients to start setting goals and practicing new behaviours to move beyond their limitations towards greater life satisfaction.
An integrative counsellor aims to provide sufficient conditions to ensure that all levels of a person’s being and functioning (mental, physical and emotional health) are maximised to their full potential. An integrative counsellor does this by committing themselves wholly to their client and their exploration of self by establishing a supportive and cooperative relationship.
  • Individual – 50 minutes
  • Couples – 1 hour
The number of sessions will vary depending on what the client brings and how they want to work.  This will be discussed during the first session and agreed upon.  Some clients will come for a few sessions to work on specific issues, others will work for a longer period on an open-ended basis.  The client will choose what is right for them and this plan will be reviewed as therapy progresses.
  • Individuals – £40 (50 minutes)
