Thermal-Auricular Ear Candle Therapy

An Ancient, natural therapy used by the Ancient Greeks for cleansing and purifying by the Native American Hopi Indians of Northern Arizona. The therapy works on a chimney effect which softly massages the ear and ear drum. The warmth of the candle stimulates the blood supply and circulation and regulates pressure.

In this particular therapy the therapists combines a soothing facial massage to stimulate the energy points around the face and pressure points around the sinus areas, increasing the circulation and lymph, helping to drain the sinus tubes.

Please note this treatment is not for anybody who has sensitivity to bee stings as the candles are made of beeswax, still in the traditional way.

The hollow beeswax candle is inserted into the ear and lit as the therapist produces a seal around the base with their hands and the candle burns down. After both ears have had the treatment, there is a relaxing sinus drain, pressure point facial and head massage with a cream base massage medium to increase the release of pressure and aid relaxation.
